Documenting ICAO & IS-BAO Safety Management and Safety Assurance

The ICAO Safety Management and Safety Assurance documentation requirements are clearly spelled out. Transportation Canada and other States have adopted the ICAO recommendations. The FAA, in AC 120-92 (AC 120-92A is in draft) has also adopted the ICAO recommendations.

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), via their International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), has adopted the ICAO recommendations and raised the bar by adding industry best practice to their certification requirements.
